I thought the whole good thing about Gmail was that it was free...that's why they can rationalize invading your privacy. Pay? Bah humbug I say.

I'm beta testing it, and I certainly didn't pay money to do so. I am not concerned about the privacy-thing, the ads are so much less obnoxious than other free webmail accounts, and the storage space is great to boot.
